Saolatek and Di Dong Viet Sign MOU for UAV Delivery Pilot Implementation
Saolatek and Di Dong Viet sign an MOU to implement the drone delivery pilot program at Saigon Hi-Tech Park.
On December 29, 2025, Saolatek Co., Ltd. and Di Dong Viet Joint Stock Company organized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony to implement a drone delivery (UAV/Drone) testing program at Saigon Hi-Tech Park, Ho Chi Minh City.
The UAV delivery testing activity is expected to be organized in the next phase at Saigon Hi-Tech Park, based on compliance with current regulations and the agreement of relevant parties.
The initial implementation contents of the program include:
- Testing UAV delivery operations in a controlled environment
- Assessing flight safety, accuracy, and system stability
- Finalizing technical processes before the official testing phase
The signing ceremony took place at the SHTP Incubation Center, with the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Huu Yen - Deputy Director of HCMC Department of Science and Technology, Mr. Quach Anh Sen - Deputy Director in charge of SHTP Incubation Center (SHTP-IC), along with leaders of the two businesses and media agencies.
Within the framework of the program, the two sides conducted a test run to evaluate the actual operational capability of the UAV system before entering the official testing session. The testing process was implemented according to strict technical procedures, meeting requirements for flight safety, accuracy, and operational stability.
Sharing with Dan Tri reporters, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - representative of Saolatek and CEO of the Vietnam Aerospace and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Network (AUVS Vietnam), representing the Low-Altitude Economy Alliance (LAE) - said that if this niche is exploited, Ho Chi Minh City can significantly reduce emissions into the environment.
In the coming time, Saolatek will continue to coordinate with partners and relevant agencies to finalize technology, aiming to apply drones to practical life.
