Saolatek Participates in Drone Delivery Testing in Ho Chi Minh City

On January 5, 2026, at Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP), Saolatek was honored to participate in the drone delivery testing program witnessed by city leaders. This is a significant milestone in the journey of developing low-altitude logistics technology in Vietnam.

At the event, drone models researched and developed by Vietnamese engineering teams, with Saolatek's participation, successfully performed autonomous delivery scenarios in a controlled environment, fully complying with flight safety, airspace management, and national defense requirements.

The testing program not only demonstrates the feasibility of drones in urban delivery activities but also opens up wide application potential in:

• Logistics and e-commerce
• Fast goods delivery in industrial parks and high-tech zones
• Medical services, relief, and public utility sectors

The Saolatek drone model put into testing is capable of transporting goods with a payload of up to 12 kg, a continuous flight time of about 40 minutes, and an operational range of over 10 km. The product is expected to be commercialized at a price of about 100 million VND, significantly lower than other drone models in the same segment currently supplied on the international market, thereby confirming Vietnam's technology mastery and competitive advantage.

Ho Chi Minh City's proactive implementation of a testing area (sandbox) for UAVs is clear evidence of the vision for developing high-tech economy and innovation, while creating conditions for Vietnamese technology enterprises like Saolatek to test, refine, and be ready for product commercialization.

Saolatek would like to express sincere thanks to the City Party Committee, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, HCMC Department of Science & Technology, HCMC Command, and the Management Board of Saigon Hi-Tech Park for their trust, companionship, and creating conditions for the testing program to be implemented safely, correctly, and effectively.

We also thank Di Dong Viet for co-organizing, the SHTP Incubation Center for supporting the location, and Real-time Robotics for coordinating the demonstration. In particular, behind the successful autonomous flight and direct data transmission is the persistent and silent effort of the Gremsy Solutions, XB, Furisky technical teams, and the close coordination of experts throughout the preparation process.
